Daniel Watson House
Daniel Watson was a currier by trade and was enlisted as a Private in the Continental Army during the American Revolution. His family lived at the corner of North Avenue (today Massachusetts Avenue) and Russell Street and were well known Patriots throughout Cambridge. In 1775 the family owned four houses along what is present day Massachusetts Avenue. The Daniel Watson house that is seen today was moved from its original location in 1965 and remains a significant landmark in Cambridge of the city’s role in The Revolutionary War.
