2/Powder House

Built on Captain’s Island in 1818 as a state gunpowder magazine. Redeveloped in 1899 as a bathhouse for Magazine Beach. It now is a part of a larger park running along the Charles River that was designed by the famous landscape architect Charles Eliot.
