Directions to the Hooper-Lee-Nichols House From
Brighton on Soldiers Field Road From
Watertown From the Mass Pike - either direction As you near the city, take Exit 18, which is marked "Allston-Brighton-Cambridge." After you pass through a tollgate, follow the exit ramp towards Allston-Brighton option(NOT the Cambridge option.) Looping around the exit ramp you come out on Cambridge Street, heading West. Turn right at the second light onto North Harvard St. (Hess Gas Station on the corner) Go about a mile to the next signal light, which is Western Avenue. Go through the light and shortly, you will see Harvard Stadium on your left (it looks like the Roman Coliseum) The brick buildings on the right are the Harvard Business School. Keep going straight, through the next light and up over the bridge that crosses the Charles River. Keep going straight: through three signal lights, (about three blocks), staying in the left lane Turn left at the fourth light - you will see the red awning of "Nini's Corner" newsstand directly ahead. Then immediately ease into the right lane. After one block, (after the "T" subway) turn right to stay on Brattle Street. Soon you will start to pass residential homes. Keep going. The Hooper-Lee-Nichols House is on the right, #159 Brattle. (about a mile) From
