Election of council, officers and advisors and featuring a talk:
Preserving Four Centuries of New England Homes: Historic New England and Its Stewardship Program by Joseph Cornish, senior stewardship manager for Historic New England.
Joseph Cornish will discuss the history of Historic New England’s stewardship program, which now protects 76 privately owned historic properties across New England. Historic New England has also owned and preserved the Cooper-Frost-Austin House (pictured left), the oldest house in Cambridge, since 1912.

Joint tour of the two oldest houses in Cambridge.
As a part of the celebration of the 100 anniversary of the founding of The Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities (SPNEA today Historic New England) the Historical Society will be giving a special tour of the Hooper-Lee-Nichols house and teaming up with Brian Powell who will be giving a special tour of the Cooper-Frost-Austin House. On one afternoon you can see the only two 17th century buildings in Cambridge. - Sunday June 13, 2010
The Hooper-Lee-Nichols House will be open for participants in the "Secret Gardens Tour" hosted by the friends of the Cambridge Public Library.
