Back to Past EventsBegining at the Georgian-style Hooper-Lee-Nichols House, the oldest house on Brattle Street, the tour looked at its architectural details before proceeding west on Brattle Street to Fayerweather Street, across Reservoir and Highland Ave and then south on Appleton Street. We saw fine examples of domestic architecture from all periods of Cambridge history. Commentary included notable architects and owners, but the emphasis will be on identifying the architectural features specific to each style. |
