A Touch of Glass

These pieces were produced at the New England Glass Company. The factory was located in Cambridge, and by the middle of the 19th century, was the largest glass maker in the world.

These pieces were on display at the 2006 Cambridge Historical Society Spring Benefit held at Avon Place Glass .

 

Pieces (below) were made at the New England Glass Company when interest in colored tableware was at its height.

Amberina was made
for several years and sold between 1884 and 1886.

Peachblow was made in 1886.
